柯群胜，教授，硕士生导师，九三学社社员，湖北省译协理事，中国教育语言学研究会会员，主要从事英汉翻译及英语教学与研究工作；本科毕业于四川大学外文系，硕士毕业于华中师范大学英语语言文学专业；2006年7-8月到英国奇切斯特大学进修，2009年12月-2010年12月到美国田纳西大学诺克斯维尔校区访学，2019年再获国家留学基金委资助；主持省级校级项目18项，主编出版国家级规划教材2部，译著（两人合译）2部，发表论文40余篇；获湖北省高校教学成果三等奖(主持)和中国纺织工业联合会教学成果三等奖(主持)各1项，中国纺织工业联合会教育教学成果一等奖（参与，排第三）1项，湖北青年学者论坛论文三等奖1项。主讲本科生“综合英语”“英语报刊阅读”及研究生“英汉语言与文化对比”“文学翻译”等课程；指导学生荣获“长江学子”自主创业类奖项，指导学生完成国家级大学生创新创业训练计划项目1项，指导学生在全国大学生英语竞赛、全国英语写作大赛、湖北省外语翻译大赛中多次获奖，指导学生获得优秀硕士、学士学位论文。

Ke Qunsheng, professor in EFL, postgraduate tutor, member of Jiusan Society, member of TAH, member of China Association of Educational Linguistics. His research focuses on C-E translation and TEFL teaching & research, particularly on Content-based Instruction (CBI). He graduated from Sichuan University, and received MA degree in English Language and Literature from Central China Normal University. He attended a 2-month training program at the University of Chichester in UK in 2006, a-year visiting scholar program at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville in 2010, and was again granted a scholarship by CSC in 2019. He chaired 18 provincial or university research programs and published 2 National 5-year-plan textbooks，over 40 research academic papers as well as 2 translation monographs on philosophy (co-translated) and the Han Embroidery. He won 1 third-prize of Hubei Higher Educational Achievement Award(director), 1 third-prize of CNTAC Educational Achievement Award(director), and 1 first-prize of CNTAC Educational Achievement Award(3rd participant), and a third-prize of Hubei Young Scholars Forum Thesis. His courses are "Integrated English" and "English News Reading" for undergraduates and "Comparison of English and Chinese Language and Culture" and "Literary Translation" for postgraduates. Under his guidance, his students completed 1 national Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Training program, and won the "Yangtze River Students" Self-employment award, some prizes in NECCS, “FLTRP” English Writing Contest, and Hubei Translation Competition in the past years. He is also an Excellent MA and BA Thesis tutor.
